Welcome to the Mass.gov Legislative District Browser. You can use this page to find information on your House and Senate representatives. Here's how:

Using the Search Fields

1. Choose either the City/Town, Zipcode, Legislator, or District radio button to start your search.



2. Type in a city/town name, zip code, a legislator name, or district name depending on what radio button you chose in step #1.



3. Define the area of your search by clicking either the 'visible map only' or 'statewide' radio button.



4. Indicate your preference for showing legislative district boundaries on the map by checking the 'House' and/or 'Senate' checkboxes. Note: you may leave both boxes unchecked if you do not wish to see the district outlines.



5. Click on the Search button to find your Legislators.

** Note that for queries based on zip code, because of discrepancies between different available map sources, you may get extraneous results. You can use the "show info" button to get a more accurate answer based on location.

Using the Map

Select the map operation you wish to execute by clicking the radio button next to the appropriate map tool and then clicking on the map image. The Zoom In / Zoom Out tools will zoom the map view in or out and recenter the image around the selected point. The Re-Center tool will recenter the map image around the point you select. The Show Info tool will display legislator information for the area you clicked on.
