Abstract:
CZM created this layer by buffering a 10,000-foot radius around the Executive Office of Transportation, Office of Transportation Planning (EOT-OTP) "Airports" data layer. These buffers represent airspace regulated by the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commissions (MAC).
Purpose:
These data were used in the development of a comprehensive ocean management plan to protect critical marine resources and foster sustainable uses in Massachusetts state waters as mandated in the Oceans Act of 2008.
